Bobbie-Jane Gardner is a composer, pianist, arranger, producer and music leader.

She’s been commissioned and worked for various arts organisations including Uchenna Dance Co., Vocab Dance Co., mac arts, Punch Records, Vivid Projects, Longbridge Public Art Project, LSO Discovery, Sound and Music, Fierce Festival, Grand Union and Heart n Soul.

Giving back to the community is an important part of Bobbie’s practice and she often works in socially engaged creative projects.

Her most ambitious project to date was for-Wards; a city-wide music programme she directed where Birmingham’s 10 constituencies inspired the creation of 10 pieces of music by 10 Brummie composers.

The artistic team included nine other Brummie/Brum based composers:  Justin K Broadrick, Grandmaster Gareth, Annie Mahtani, Percy Pursglove, Xhosa Cole, Simon Duggal, Pogman and Pram to work collaboratively with 40 community groups.
