My 2.5 Years of Freelancing

hustling
Been in this community music game for a wee while.
It’s a hustler’s life for sure, getting used to not knowing where the work is coming from, but still makes me nervous to the core.
Mum reckons I shud do a PGCE, says she scared of seeing her babies struggle, she didn’t put us through uni with this in mind. Sometimes the 9 – 5 seems real tempting but nah!
Still gonna hang in there, hopefully the universe will provide. Some workshops go amazingly, some leave me sad, but still gonna fight to be the best that I can.

    Keep in there Bobster :-)

  2. At the moment, work wise it’s fine, cash flow is odd….but it’s the not knowing, recession scariness that’s worrying.

    Thanks DK!

  3. We should set up an arts mafia, charge the big organisations rates for protection :)

  4. Ha ha!

  5. GTP it up, ain’t no shame in taking the dark side!

  6. Nah, don’t wanna do formal yet. Love for the kids, but like working with smaller groups, and don’t care if kids shirts are hanging out… Not really.
