At present I am devising new music workshop project ideas.
Here are a few:
- Social media, music technology and ensemble themed
- Different approaches to learning about black music history
- Fusion ensembles-incorporating citizenship and cultural issues
- Music and nature
Then it struck me; I haven’t asked music teachers, community music workers and young people what they actually want from music workshops- Doh!
